[Mode] Recruiting Active PvP Players
[Mode] is recruiting PvP members!
Voyeurs Use Observer [Mode] is a new guild looking to recruit active PvP members for HA/GvG. Our relatively small group of members split from our last guild due to lack of PvP activity. We hope to provide a more consistent schedule that does not fall apart when a couple people are unavailable by expanding our number of competent players, yet we wish to remain small enough that everyone can be part of the gang.
We are looking for people for regular HA and GvG with:
at least 750k Balth Faction (or approximately R3+ Hero and/or R1+ Glad)
Aged 17+
However, no one will be denied a try-out to prove their ability.
We are a relaxed guild with a group officers who have played together for over 2 years. Our leader is basically a "lead officer" since all the officers act together to make any major decisions. While we focus on PvP, we also PvE when there are not enough guildies on to PvP, for we believe that PvE is less painful than pugging.
When we PvP, we use a "first come, first served" philosophy where every member has equal chance to play. We select builds for the week on our forums using the same principle, whoever posts the build for the week first, gets dibs. Then we discuss, mod, and improve upon the build based on everyone’s expertise. While we do occasionally run “lolbuilds” we tend to limit their playtime. We are currently testing our new PvP schedule, due to the start of the new school year. We currently PvP on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with start times at 6pm, 8pm, and 10pm Central.
As far as personality goes, we ask that you be respectful of all guild members, no matter how Asian, hippie-ish, or old they may be. We do screw around and make fun of each other all the time, but it's in a goofy way, not a mean way, and we keep the insults light and never take anything personally. We also frown on trash talking in Local chat, for we understand that opposing teams are trying to have fun just as we are.
If you have any questions, please feel free to post under our applications thread on our forums at: www.mode.ourguild.ws. We use forums, vent, and teambuilder a lot, so a working microphone, proper programs, and a space in your bookmark folder are much appreciated.
We look forward to meeting you!
